Encouraging Scriptures
The LORD is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green
pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his
name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no
evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before
me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely
goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD forever. Psalm 23
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly
realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3
Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again. Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all.
The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us
new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into
an inheritance that can never perish spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you, who through faith
are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in
the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going
there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back
and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-3
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. 1 John 4:7
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.
1 John 3:1
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will
for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else,
just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and
holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
1 Thessalonians 3.12-13
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you
know that you will receive an inheritance form the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ
you are serving. Colossians 4:23-24
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the
Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if
any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete
by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Philippians 2:1-2
